Assistant Site Director

Join Our Team as an Assistant Site Director!

Join the Bennington Public Schools Foundation’s All Star Kids Program as an Assistant Site Director, where you’ll assist with overseeing staff, managing activities, and ensuring the success of our school-age childcare program. This part-time role offers leadership opportunities and is perfect for individuals with childcare and supervisory experience looking to make a positive impact in a school setting.

Pay: Starting at $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Hours Available: 6:15am-8:15am & 2:30pm-6:00pm, Monday-Friday
Additional hours available during summer programming 6:30am-6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising staff and children during program activities.
  • Support the Site Director in planning, implementing, and managing the daily program.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment following state regulations.
  • Provide feedback, training, and guidance to staff to promote a positive team atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to maintain open and respectful relationships.
  • Assist with behavior management, incident reports, and ensure program goals are met.
  • Follow and train staff on emergency procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 19 years or older.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in organized group activities for school-aged children.
  • Ability to supervise children and staff in various settings such as gyms, outdoor areas, and during field trips.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from Bennington, NE
  • Must complete Nebraska Child Abuse & Neglect Registry, Nebraska Adult Abuse Central Registry, and a background check.
